How to find your track size

Rubber tracks are sized as width x pitch x number of links. A 300x52.5x80 track is 300mm wide, has a 52.5mm pitch (the distance between the centres of two links) and has 80 links.

  1. Look for the size moulded into the inside or outside of your old track.
  2. If it has worn off, measure the width in millimetres and the distance between two link centres.
  3. Count the links (the drive lugs) all the way round.

Not sure? Send us your machine make, model and serial number and we will confirm the right track before you order. See our rubber track size chart.

Frequently asked questions

How long do rubber excavator tracks last?

With normal use, typically 1,000 to 2,000 operating hours. Keeping them clean and correctly tensioned helps them last longer.

Can I fit excavator tracks myself?

Yes, a competent operator or mechanic can fit them. We are happy to advise on fitting.

Do you have tracks for older excavators?

Usually, yes. Give us the track dimensions and we can normally source the right track.
